Configuring Compuserve
for Access from the Internet
Using Compuserve WinCIM through the Internet You
can use your Compuserve account through the
Internet (up to 56k) rather than having to dial a
separate session or long distance.
- 1.You must have WinCIM v1.4 or above.
- 2.Start WinCIM, select the Special menu,
Session Settings
- 3.Click the New button. Your current
settings are preserved. Namethese new settings
"Internet" or something appropriate.
- 4.Change the Connector to WINSOCK
- 5.Change the Network to "Internet Always,"
first dial the Internet, then start WinCIM
You can also make these changes prior to
logging on to Mia.
