 Anarchie 1.6
This is a tutorial showing you
how to set up Anarchie in order
to connect to our server, and
transfer your files into the
proper place to get served to the
world.
- Start the application by
double clicking on the program
icon. After the program
starts, a bookmark window will
appear.
- Choose the "Get" item
under the "FTP" menu at the
top of the screen. You will
then see the standard connect
screen:
- Choose the Machine Name:
- Basic
Website customers : Use
"ftp.mia.net" as the
Machine as shown.
- Domain Website
customers : Use
"ftp.yourdomain.com" as the
Machine name.
Note: This will only
work when your domain name
has been finalized with
InterNIC. In the meantime,
you must enter ftp.mia.net
in the machine name to
connect.
- Replace "username" with
your own login name, and of
course, your own password.
This should then connect you
to the Mia.Net server.
- Once you are connected,
you will see a screen that
shows you a list of files in
your directory. This is a
sample of an images folder:
This screen shows you the
current files located on our
server in your account.
- To transfer files to your
account, use the "Put..." item
under the "FTP" menu, and
choose which files or folders
you wish to upload.
- To download files from
your account to your home
computer, simply double click
on the file you wish to
download.
